Upma is a healthy recipe that we can add to our daily breakfast routine. The recipe contains some fresh vegetables, rava, urad dal, onion, and some few ingredients.

Ingredients which are used in vegetable rava upma recipe:

  1. 1 cup roasted semolina (rava/suji)
  2. 1 small cube size cut potato
  3. 1 small cube size cut carrot
  4. 6 small florets cauliflower
  5. 4 1 inch piece of bean
  6. 1 sliced green capsicum
  7. 1 tsp Urad Dal
  8. 10 curry leaves
  9. 1 finely chopped onion
  10. 1 1 inch crushed ginger
  11. 3 slit green chili
  12. 3 tbsp oil
  13. salt to taste

Easy step by step method to prepare vegetable rava upma recipe:

Step 1:

heat 3 tbsp oil in a pan.

Step 2:

After heat oil, add,
  • 1 tsp of urad dal
  • 1 inch crushed ginger
  • into the pan and saute 30 seconds.

Step 3:

Add 1 finely chopped onion and saute until spread it's fragrant.

Step 4:

Add,
  • 1 small cube size cut potato,
  • 1 small size cube cut carrot,
  • some cut beans,
  • 3 slits of green chili,
  • some salt to taste
  • and saute all ingredients for sometimes.

Step 5:

Add green capsicum and mix well.

Step 6:

Add 2 and 3 cups of water and keep it come to boil.

Step 7:

Cover a lead and cook on medium heat, until the vegetables are done.

Step 8:

After done the vegetables add the 1 cup of roasted semolina (suji/rawa) and stir it well.

Step 9:

Cover and cook semolina on medium flame until it's cooked and the water absorbed in semolina ( suji/ rawa).

Step 10:

After perfectly cooked all ingredients, serve into a serving bowl and serve it hot.
